Building our
Community
In 2023
PROGRAMS: 5 programs and 14 youth-led events for a total of 753 participants.
CIVIC ENGAGEMENT & VOLUNTEERISM: 30 frontline volunteers activated with 4 youth serving on 2 committees.
CAPACITIES ENHANCED: 4 members sent for Instructor Certification, 9 completed Respect in Sport modules, and 11 participants underwent equity training. 1 multi-organization collaboration established.
ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES: 28 seasonal youth positions created – coaches, tutors, administrators, and research assistants. 4 new internship collaborations established with external partners.
